Consciously crafted inside and out, our fully compostable, biodegradable& unbleached tea sachets are made from 100% plant-based, food-safe material called polylactic acid (PLA). 

The NASA Corporation created PLA Mesh (NeoSoilon®) in January 2020. PLA (polylactic acid), a polymer resin made by the lactic fermentation of glucose, is derived from corn starch and originates from renewable resources (sugar cane). The sugar is fermented and transformed into lactic acid. The process is then followed by turning lactic acid into PLA.

100% PLA mesh filter is made from 100% non-GMO sugar cane fiber.
